Saskatoon Police are asking for public assistance in identifying the people responsible for an aggravated assault which happened over the weekend.
Just after 9:00am, Saturday, October 13th, five people forced their way into a residence in the 300 block of Avenue R South. These persons wore masks and dark clothing, and got into an altercation with the person inside. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed twice in the torso.
The suspects fled the residence after stealing the victim's cell phone and five hats. The victim contacted police by calling 911 from a neighbor's house. No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are looking for 5-6 aboriginal males approximately 20 years of age.
