A 46 year old man has been taken to hospital following an industrial accident at the River Landing construction site this morning.
Police were called to the site at 3rd Avenue and 19th Street about 10:30, following a report that a construction worker had fallen from a roof. Upon arrival officers found that the man had slipped while working on one of the pavilions, and fell about 10 feet to the ground. He is believed to be suffering from serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Occupational Health and Safety has been notified.
