A 46 year old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for fraud related incidents was arrested by Saskatoon Police this week.
Officers were called to a motel in the 2500 block of 22nd Street West on Tuesday, October 30th. The motel clerk reported that a guest matched the description of a man wanted by police, as described in a hotel association bulletin. Upon arrival officers were able to arrest Bryan Andrew Casavant without incident.
Police agencies across Western Canada had been on the look-out for Casavant. He was wanted on charges of being unlawfully at large and breach of conditions. He is a person of interest in fraud related investigations in Edmonton and Winnipeg.
