The 23 year old woman charged following a drug investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Integrated Drug Unit is facing an additional charge of Obstruction of Justice.
Celeste Whitehawk is facing a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking along with 25 year old Randy Merasty. He is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Ecstasy, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. He was also wanted on numerous warrants for Failure to Stop for Police, Possession Over $5,000 (vehicle), firearms offences, possession for the purpose of trafficking offences, and numerous breaches or recognizance and probation orders.
Acting on a tip, officers in the drug unit arrested Merasty and Whitehawk at a Saskatoon hotel yesterday. Both appeared in Provincial Court this morning.
