At 2:20 am November 17, 2007 police attended a single vehicle collision at the top of the 25th St Bridge.
A vehicle had been traveling, at speed, east bound on the bridge and tried to negotiate the turn onto Clarence Ave south bound. The vehicle went into the oncoming lane and struck a tree on the east side of the 400 block of Clarence Ave.
Members of MD Ambulance and Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services attended to the single passenger, a 23 year old female. The Jaws of Life was used to remove her from the vehicle.
Collision analysts were called to the scene.
The injured female was taken to Royal University Hospital for broken bones, head and spine injuries. Presently she is in serious but stable condition.
