Saskatoon Police are investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred at 1:05 PM in the 2900 block of Wanuskewin Road.
A northbound vehicle lost control and collided with a vehicle proceeding southbound on Wanuskewin Road. The 30 year old female driver of the northbound vehicle and the 9 year old female passenger were transported by ambulance to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Saskatoon Police are presently on the scene of a single vehicle collision that occurred at 3:22 PM at 20th Street West and Avenue W South. A truck was proceeding southbound on Avenue W South when the driver attempted to negotiate a left turn to proceed east on 20th Street West. The 60 year old male driver lost control and received minor injuries when his truck collided with a power pole. Residents in the area have experienced a power outage. City Electrical workers are on scene to restore power to the area. (2007-120600).
Saskatoon Police are presently responding to several other collisions in Saskatoon.
Speeds too fast for road conditions and slippery roads themselves are contributing factors in these accidents.
Saskatoon Police are advising motorists to slow down and drive with extreme caution due to slippery road conditions present in Saskatoon.
