Saskatoon Police were kept busy overnight after a Saskatoon man made threats against his ex.
At approximately 7:00pm police were called to a home on Borden Place where a woman reported she had received a threatening phone call from her Ex. He is alleged to have threatened to come over to kill her and then himself.
Police attempted to locate the suspect and at around midnight they were able to determine he was at a residence on the 400 block of Avenue C South. The home was surrounded and the Police Services ERT Team was called out to assist.
At 3:29am a 35 year old male was taken into custody without incident after he came out of the residence. He is charged with Uttering Threats related to tonight's incident. He is also charged with Breaching the Conditions of his release related to a threats charge made against the same victim from February of this year. These charges were from the Regina area.
He will appear in court later today.
