Arrests - Credit Card Fraud/Theft Of Gasoline

A 21 year old Saskatoon man will appear again April 9th in Provincial Court on a number of credit card fraud and gasoline theft charges.

Jason Gans was charged after Police were alerted to what appeared to be the theft of gas from a cardlock facility in the 700 block of 46th Street East. Earlier this month patrol and plainclothes officers observed an individual using a stolen credit card to fill up several vehicles with gasoline.

Following an investigation it is believed the individual had stolen corporate credit cards and was using them fraudulently for gasoline. Gans is facing charges of possession of stolen credit cards, possession of money obtained in the commission of an offence, and theft of gasoline totaling almost $19,000.
