The Saskatoon Police have charged a 40 year old male in relation to three robberies that took place in 2007.
The first robbery occurred at a business in the 2000 block of Avenue C north on March 19th at approximately 10:00 am. The accused passed a note to the teller which demanded cash. On September 28th in the 400 block of Circle Drive east the accused again passed a note to an employee demanding cash. Approximately 2 hours later, the accused entered a second business in the 200 block of Primrose Drive and also passed a note to the employee demanding cash. The accused managed to flee on foot from all three businesses with an undisclosed amount of money.
The accused male was identified from surveillance footage obtained from the crime scenes. He is currently in custody in Alberta and Saskatoon Police are forwarding the three robbery charges for a plea.
