Motor Vehicle Accident

Saskatoon Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 25th street bridge that occurred at approximately 7:55 a.m. this morning.

Initial information stated there were four vehicles involved, but police found there were seven involved. Four of the vehicle occupants were taken to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries and a fifth occupant walked into the hospital reporting minor injuries.

Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services also attended the accident.

As a result of the collision, traffic was congested on the bridge and in the downtown area until the damaged vehicles were removed from the bridge just after 9:00 a.m.

Icy roads are deemed a contributing factor. Police advise no charges will be laid.
