A 20 year old man has appeared in a Saskatoon Court following his arrest in Montreal on an outstanding Canada-Wide Warrant. The warrant was requested by Saskatoon Police for Victor Briestensky relating to graffiti in Saskatoon.
The warrant was issued based on information gathered through the Canada Graffiti Intel Network, established by the Saskatoon Police Service Anti Graffiti Unit. It is believed Mr. Briestensky was responsible for graffiti in Vancouver, Regina, and Saskatoon. In addition, the Regina Police Service has now laid 6 criminal charges against Mr. Briestensky relating to graffiti placed in Regina over the weekend of May 9-12, 2008.
His next court appearance is scheduled for June 24, 2008 1:30 p.m.
