Single Vehicle Motorcycle Accident

At approximately 6:50 PM on Sunday May 25, 2008 Saskatoon Police were called to the scene of a single vehicle motorcycle accident at the intersection of Diefenbaker Drive and 22nd Street West.

The operator of the motorcycle, a 42 year old male, was taken to hospital by MD Ambulance where he was treated and released. His injuries consisted of cuts, scrapes and bruising to his face.

On scene investigators determined that the primary cause of the accident was the driver’s lack of experience in operating a motorcycle, and a secondary contributing factor was loose gravel on the road surface.

No charges are being considered in this matter.
