Officer's Lunch Break Leads To Arrest

A 61 year old Saskatoon man has been charged with Sexual Assault following an incident at 23rd street and Spadina Crescent on May 28th, 2008 at approximately 12:35 p.m.

Two Saskatoon Police officers were on their lunch break jogging when they observed the accused grab another adult male in the groin area. The officers identified themselves and dealt with both males, arresting the accused at the scene where he was transported to the Saskatoon Police Service detention unit.

The accused was later released from custody with a court date set for Friday, June 27th, 2008 in court room #1 at 9:00 a.m. at the Provincial Court Building.
