A 31 year old Saskatoon man has been charged with one count of theft of mail following the discovery of several bags of mail in an East side garage.
Police were called to the garage, in the 600 block of 10th Street East, on June 7th. The landlord discovered the undelivered mail while cleaning out the garage. Following an investigation it was discovered the man was a relief mail carrier for Canada Post, and filled in on various mail routes. The mail found was dated from 2001 to the present.
The 31 year old man is scheduled to make his first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on July 7th, at 9:00 a.m.
