Just before 11:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2008, Saskatoon Police were called to a motor vehicle collision on the Idylwyld Freeway near where it crosses over Ruth Street.
A large amount of standing water on the roadway caused a vehicle to veer to the right and collide with a stalled vehicle on the shoulder.
The twenty year old female driver of the stalled vehicle was on the roadway in front of her vehicle, and was struck when it was propelled forward by the collision. She was taken to hospital by MD Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges are pending and no other injures occurred as a result of this collision.
