"Tickles" Stolen From Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park And Zoo

The Saskatoon Police on behalf of the Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, request the Media and Publics assistance in locating an adult reptile that was stolen from the Zoo between Noon and 2:30 PM yesterday afternoon (August 2, 2008).

A Royal Python Snake affectionately known as "Tickles," is 8-10 years old, weighs between 10-12 pounds and is roughly five feet in length. "Tickles'" body color is black with yellow, gold and brown markings with a white underbelly. According to Staff at the Zoo, "Tickles" is well known, and a favorite of many Saskatoon children who have visited him at his home at the Forestry Farm.

Although described by his caregiver as a gentle creature, due to the circumstances Saskatoon Police urge caution, and if encountered ask that Zoo Manager, John Moran be contacted immediately at 306-222-1696.
