Two Vehicle Collision Results In Minor Injuries

At approx. 10:30 AM on Sunday August 10, 2008 Saskatoon Police attended the scene of a two vehicle collision that sent two persons to hospital with minor injuries.

The 39 year old male driver of a west bound vehicle on 22nd Street disobeyed a red traffic light and collided with a north bound vehicle on Pacific Avenue. An 80 year old female passenger from the west bound vehicle and the driver of the north bound vehicle were transported to hospital with minor, non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the west bound vehicle has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act with the Red Light violation.
