The Saskatoon Police Service Historical Case Unit and Missing Person Task Force, with assistance from the RCMP, have recovered human remains and have arrested a 30 year old male in connection with the 2004 disappearance of 25 year old Daleen Kay Bosse,
The recovery of remains and arrest are the result of an ongoing investigation. The male, a resident of White Fox Saskatchewan, was taken into custody at 12:05 p.m., August 10, 2008, in a parking lot in the 700 block of Circle Drive East. He will make his first appearance in Provincial Court at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11.
At the time of her disappearance, Daleen Bosse had been living in Saskatoon with her husband and three year old daughter, and attending university. Daleen was last seen at a nightclub in downtown Saskatoon in the early morning hours of May 18th, 2004.
The Saskatoon Police Service will hold a media conference to officially announce the developments on Monday, August 11th, at 1:30 p.m., in the third floor boardroom. Following the news conference the media will have the opportunity to attend the scene where Daleen Bosse’s remains were recovered. Due to the isolated, bushy conditions of the scene members of the media will be required to travel a short distance on foot.
