Public Safety Advisory

The Saskatoon Police Service is announcing that a high risk, violent sex offender is currently wanted on a warrant and is believed to be in the Saskatoon area.

Warren David Rattray - DOB: December 6, 1964, has a history of committing violent sexual offences against people he comes into contact with. In previous offences Mr. Rattray's victims have been adult females and children of both genders. He was last seen in Martensville on August 18th, 2008.

Mr. Rattray is currently in violation of his recognizance which requirements include the following;

Keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Report to the Saskatoon Police Service weekly.

Not to leave the jurisdiction of the court.

Not to have contact or communicate with any person under the age of 14.

Not to attend or loiter within a one block radius of schools, playgrounds, public parks or swim areas.

Mr. Rattray is described as a Caucasian male, 5'8" in height, 170 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

It is important to note that this information is intended to enable members of the public to take suitable preventative measures, and not to embark upon any form of vigilantism or other unreasonable conduct directed at this individual.

The Saskatoon Police Service would like the public to be aware of Mr. Rattray's presence in the Saskatoon area and his potential to re-offend. If any person knows the whereabouts of Mr. Rattray, or believes they may have information pertaining to his warrant, please contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 975-8300. If the event is considered to be of an emergent nature please call 911.
