At approximately 8:35 PM on Friday August 29, 2008 Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a two vehicle collision in the west bound lanes of Highway 16, approximately two miles northwest of Marquis Drive.
One of the vehicles involved was struck from behind by a second vehicle, causing it to enter the center ditch and roll on to it's roof. The second vehicle traveled across the east bound lanes and came to rest in the south ditch of the east bound lanes.
All five occupants of the vehicle that rolled over went to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries. The 21 year old male driver of the second vehicle has been charged with Driving Without Due Care and Attention under the Traffic Safety Act.
