The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) Saskatchewan consists of three (3) teams, located in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and
. The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit is comprised of personnel from partner police services from Prince Albert, Saskatoon,
and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who receive funding for resources and operations from the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing. The primary mandate is to expose, investigate, prosecute, dismantle and disrupt organized crime enterprises. Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit provides our police partners with experienced organized crime investigators and support staff which operated in a true team concept.
Project Cascade was an eight (8) month investigation into a criminal network that was trafficking controlled substances, primarily cocaine in
and area. This integrated investigation was led by the Saskatoon Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, in partnership with the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP. On August 28th and 29th, 2008, six (6) people were arrested, of which three (3) are suspected members of the Crazy Dragons street gang. Forty-two (42) charges were laid which include Participating in a Criminal Organization, Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine, Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine and Trafficking in Cocaine. Four accused were remanded in custody and two were released to appear at a later date.

A 20 year old male has yet to appear in court.
This is the 3rd investigation into the illegal activities of the Crazy Dragons in Saskatchewan. One of these investigations recently led to the first Organized Crime conviction in Saskatoon.
