At approximately 0240 hrs, 2008 September 21 a two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Spadina Crescent and Queen St. A vehicle driven by an 18yr old male was Northbound on Spadina Crescent lost control and crashed headon into a Southbound vehicle. The 4 male occupants of the Southbound vehicle were injured. They range in age from 25 to 29. None of the injuries are considered life threatening. Fire and Protective Services, MD Ambulance and Police responded and all persons including the 18 year old driver were transported to hospital. Alcohol is believed to be a factor and Police are continuing to investigate.
A traffic collision analyst has been called to the scene. Spadina Crescent between Queen St and Duke St. has been closed to traffic and will remain so until the investigation is complete. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
