Saskatoon Police were contacted just before 2:00 AM on Thursday October 9, 2008 regarding an injured person on Carleton Drive.
Investigation into the matter led Police to the scene of a stabbing which occurred in the 400 block of Stone Crescent at approximately 11:00 PM, however the victim had not yet been located.
A 17 year old male eventually made his own way to Royal University Hospital where he was spoken to by investigators. He received two stab wounds to the lower left back area which are being treated, but are non-life-threatening.
The stabbing occurred as a result of a fight, and the investigation is continuing. No arrests have been made.
