Pedestrian MVA

At approximately 6:40 PM Saskatoon Police received a report of a vehicle - pedestrian accident just west of Junor Avenue on 33rd Street West.

Attending SPS members learned that a 10 year old female and a 15 year old male had stepped out into traffic from between parked vehicles. The driver of a truck that was west bound on 33rd Street was able to immediately bring his vehicle to a stop, but both pedestrians were knocked over.

Both pedestrians were taken to RUH by MD Ambulance for precautionary reasons only, as there were no apparent injuries.

No charges are being considered at this time.

As it is Halloween, there will be many children out "trick or treating" this evening. In view of this incident, Saskatoon Police area asking all motorists to be extra vigilant while driving tonight, so everyone can have a safe and fun Halloween!
