Hit & Run Vehicle Collision In North End

Saskatoon Police responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle rollover in the 3500 block of Thatcher Avenue just before 7:00 PM on Saturday evening.

Upon arrival, Police learned that a 44 year old male and his 8 year old daughter were south bound on Thatcher Avenue in their vehicle, en route to a Saskatoon Blades Hockey game. As they passed through Apex Avenue, the driver of an east bound dark colored flat deck truck disobeyed a stop sign and sped through the intersection striking the rear of the south bound vehicle. The impact of the collision caused the south bound vehicle to roll over. The driver of the flat deck truck left the scene at a high rate of speed, and has not been identified.

The victims of this Hit & Run were shaken up, but not injured. They were treated and cleared at the scene by members of MD Ambulance.

The investigating members were told that the victims were undaunted by the collision, and did attend the Major Junior Hockey Game!
