The Saskatoon Police Service is asking shoppers to keep an eye on their belongings after a number of purse thefts in recent months.
Over the last five months Police have received reports of purses being stolen from shopping carts while shoppers stepped away from the cart. There are approximately 15 incidents reported to have occurred at two grocery stores. The first in the 2900 block of 8th Street East and the second in the 400 block of Confederation Drive.
Police are continuing to investigate the thefts but remind shoppers to avoid leaving their purses unattended while shopping.
