Members of the Saskatoon Police Service have arrested a 30 year old male on several criminal charges initiated by the RCMP, as well as on a Canada wide warrant of arrest for breach of statutory release.
At approximately 12:10 p.m. the SPS received information from officers at the Wadena Detachment of the RCMP that the male may be at a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South in Saskatoon. Also included was information regarding a stolen vehicle the man was believed to be in possession of.
The vehicle was observed parked outside the residence. SPS officers surrounded the home and the man was arrested without incident.
The man is facing new charges from Wadena RCMP including 17 counts of break & enter, 5 counts of theft of motor vehicle, armed robbery, wearing a disguise during the commission of an offence, possession of a firearm, and point firearm.
