Saskatoon Police have charged a 30 year old woman with one count of Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident and one count of Dangerous Driving following a traffic collision on the Sid Buckwold Bridge this morning.
Just after 6:30 a.m. Police were called to the collision between a car and a truck. The female driver of the car fled the scene on foot. Upon investigation officers were able to determine that two cars had been driving recklessly on the bridge before one of the cars struck the back of a truck. They were able to locate and arrest the woman a short time later.
The male driver of the truck received minor injuries.
The woman is also facing a charge of Failure to Hold an Operators License under the Traffic Safety Act. She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on March 13th.
