Saskatoon Police responded to a 9-1-1 call of injured persons in the 500 block of 20th Street West just before 10:00 PM on Monday, May 11, 2009.
Two victims were located near the scene and taken to RUH by MD Ambulance and another had already made his way to St. Paul's Hospital. Apparently the three male victims, aged 17, 27 and 30, were attacked by a number of suspects who drove up to, and later fled the scene in a newer black SUV. At least one of the suspects had a knife and inflicted wounds on the three victims.
At last report all three victims were in serious condition, and two were scheduled for emergency surgery. The 17 year old victim received a wound to his throat; the 27 year old received wounds to his face and upper chest and the 30 year old received a wound to his abdomen.
No arrests have been made. Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding those responsible for this crime to call 975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS.
