Five males between the ages of 14 and 18 are facing in excess of nine charges following a break in to a business in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South.
Police officers noticed suspicious activity at approximately 4:30 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, near the scene of the break and enter. An adult male and four youth were found in possession of construction tools valued at approximately $3000 believed to have been taken from the scene.
The five are charged with five counts of Break and Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence, one count of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, two counts of Breach of Probation, one count of Breach of Undertaking and several outstanding warrants. The males were scheduled to appear at Provincial Court on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
