Car Vs Bicycle Collision

At about 10:40 AM on 09-05-31, Saskatoon Police attended a collision between a car and a bicycle at the intersection of 8th Street and Clarence Avenue. A northbound cyclist was attempting to cross the intersection as the light was turning red and was struck by a westbound car operated by a 49-year old female.

The 23-year old male cyclist sustained broken bones as a result of the collision but his injuries are not considered life threatening.

Police interviewed several eye witnesses and as a result of their investigation, no charges will be laid.
