A lengthy investigation involving a 60 year old Saskatoon man has revealed numerous victims and resulted in more than 20 charges.
The investigation, conducted by the Saskatoon Police Service Vice Unit, began last January following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Avenue Y South. At that time the 60 year old male was arrested and charged with a number of sexual offences. Vice officers found numerous items involving child pornography and began trying to identify the victims pictured.
A total of nine victims have been identified. They were between the ages of 12 and 18 when the offences took place over a six year period, between 2002 and 2008.
The male is now facing charges including Obtaining Sexual Services, Communication for the Purpose of Sexual Services, Invitation to Sexual Touching, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Child Pornography.
He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Wednesday, June 4, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.
