Two people are facing charges and hundreds of tools, bikes, and electronics have been recovered following the execution of a search warrant by the Saskatoon Police Service Break and Enter Unit.
As part of an ongoing investigation into break and enters and thefts around the city, the Unit executed a search warrant on a home in the 1800 block of 2nd Avenue North on June 12th. At the home they found hundreds of stolen items including drills, cell phones, dvds, and bicycles. They also found 20 grams of methamphetamine and 87 grams of marijuana. Investigators believe the drugs were traded for stolen goods.
53 year old Ralph Morin and 55 year old Doris Morin are both facing charges of Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine and marijuana), and Possession of Drugs (hydromorphine and hydrocontin). They are scheduled to make their next appearance in court June 25th, at 9:30 a.m.
Anyone who believes they may have had similar items stolen over the last three months is asked to contact the Break and Enter Unit at 975-2386.
