5 Persons Arrested From 2 Stolen Vehicles

At approximately 0045 a.m.,2010 January 6 Corman Park Police and RCMP advised they were attempting to stop a stolen vehicle southbound on Highway 11. Saskatoon Police took position at Marquis Drive and Idlywyld Drive North and successfully deployed stop sticks to disable the vehicle. An adult male and adult female both in their twenties were arrested without incident. Both are facing charges of possession of stolen property laid by Saskatoon Police and will face additional charges from Corman Park Police and the RCMP.

At approximately 0210 a.m. 2010 January 6 a Patrol Sargent spotted a vehicle reported stolen earlier in the evening in the downtown area. The vehicle was followed for for 8 minutes until enough units were on position and stopped at Ave C North and 30th St West. No emergency equipment was utilized until the stop was made. 2 Female and 1 Male young offenders were arrested without incident and face a variety of charges from possession of stolen property over 5000 dollars to breaching court ordered conditions.
