Four Charged - SIDEST Investigation - 100 Block Ave E South And 300 Block Herold Road

A 28 year old female and three males aged 28, 30 and 44 are facing charges following a drug and weapons investigation by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST) and the Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit.

On September 8, 2016 search warrants were served on a residence in the 100 block of Avenue E South and a residence in the 300 block of Herold Road. Five people were initially arrest, but one was released without charges. Police located and seized hydromorphone beads, 5.6 grams of cocaine, 8.1 grams of marihuana, 165 pills of fentanyl, bear spray and over $6900 in cash.

The 44 year old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime. (Court Info #: 43844311, 43844312)

The 30 year old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marihuana, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime and Breach of a Conditional Sentence Order. (Court Info #: 43844313)

The 28 year old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marihuana, Possession of Hydromorphone, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime, and Breach of Recognizance. (Court Info #: 43844314, 43844315)

The four arrested are appearing in court on September 9, 2016 in the morning.

The Saskatoon Integrated Drug enforcement Street Team is an integrated investigative unit comprised of members from the Saskatoon Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
