Traffic restrictions have been lifted on Circle Drive, both north and southbound, following a two vehicle collision this morning near the College Drive exit.
At approximately 11:40 a.m., October 28, 2016, a vehicle driving northbound on Circle Drive crossed the median and struck a vehicle driving southbound. The drivers, and only occupants of both vehicles, were transported to hospital. The 21 year old female driver of the northbound vehicle was transported as a precaution and found to be uninjured. The 26 year old male driver of the southbound vehicle was found to be suffering from serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation by Saskatoon Police Service collision analysts, the female driver of the northbound vehicle was found to be at fault. She has been charged with driving without due care and attention. Driver inexperience was found to have been a factor in the collision.
The SPS wishes to thank motorists for their patience in avoiding the area. The collision investigation in this case involved both southbound and one northbound lane of traffic.
