The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a street robbery that occurred just after 9:00 PM Sunday evening in the area of 20th Street and Ave. B. A motorist was stopped for a traffic signal when a man approached his vehicle, pulled him out of the car and struck him several times before stealing his wallet and cell phone. The motorist was able to get back in his car and drive to the downtown area for help. MD Ambulance transported him to hospital with non - life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for the suspect described as an indigenous male, between 20 and 30 years of age, with a black back pack.
