On Monday 19th December 2016 at 00:18am, Saskatoon Police Service responded to a robbery that occurred to a business in the 1000 block of 8th Street East. A suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived and a subsequent K9 track was unsuccessful. It is possible that after initially fleeing on foot the suspect then got on a bicycle.

No one was injured and no weapon was seen.

Suspect is described as Caucasian in appearance, 60 years old, grey hair, 5' 6" in height, thin build, wearing a red winter jacket with black sleeves, jeans; however the jacket was recovered by the K9 officer, having been discarded by the suspect while he fled.
