The 25 year old male victim is not from Prince Albert. He is a resident of Saskatoon.
Saskatoon Police are investigating two separate stabbings that occurred over the past few days.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., December 20, 2017, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Avenue H South for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, Police found a 25 year old man from Prince Albert suffering from a stab wound. A canine track was attempted but no suspect was located. MD Ambulance attended and he was transported to hospital with serious injuries. He is now in stable condition.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., December 20, 2017, Saskatoon Police attended to RUH for a report of a male, age 24, who came to the hospital with a stab wound that reportedly occurred the previous day. Injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
