Morning Collisions Across The City...

A 19 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges after the truck he was operating struck a parked vehicle and then a tree in the 900 block of 11th St W. The collision occurred just before 6:30 AM. The man fled on foot after the collision and was tracked through the neighborhood by a police service dog. He was eventually able to borrow a telephone and called a taxi. He was later arrested at a home in the 3800 block of 33rd St West. He will be facing criminal charges of hit & run as well as breaching conditions of a previous release document. He also had an unrelated warrant out for his arrest. He will be seeing a Justice of the Peace later today. No one was injured in the collision.

Just before 7:00 AM Sunday, a 38 year old Saskatoon woman was shaken up after the vehicle she was operating went out of control and struck an attenuation wall on Circle Drive near Clarence Ave. S, MD Ambulance personnel attended and checked the woman over however she did not require further medical care.

At 7:20 PM, emergency crews were called to Circle Drive and Clancy Drive after a SUV type vehicle struck a concrete median in the middle of the roadway and flipped over. Once again the 60 year Saskatoon old man operating the vehicle escaped serious injury, was checked over by MD Ambulance personnel but did not require further medical attention.
