Robbery / Stabbing - 22 Year Old Man In Hospital

A 22 year old Saskatoon man is in hospital with non life-threatening injuries after two suspects attempted to steal his truck.

At 2:45 AM Wednesday morning, Police and MD Ambulance responded to a residence in the 700 block of Weldon Ave to a reported stabbing. The victim was transported by ambulance to hospital. Investigators have determined that the victim had given two other men a ride from the Confederation Park area to the Westmount neighborhood near Leif Erickson Park. At this point the two attempted to steal his vehicle and a physical altercation took place. The two suspects eventually fled on foot and the victim was able to drive himself to his home on Weldon Ave.

Suspect #1 is described as an indigenous male, 19-20 years old, short dark hair, about 6' tall, 160 lbs with a skinny build. He was wearing a black jacket with red stripes. He was armed with a large hunting type knife

Suspect # 2 is described as an indigenous male, mid to late 20's, 5'10" with a slim build. He was wearing all black and had a black toque with a green stripe. He had what appeared to be a handgun.
