A 28 year old man is recovering from a non life-threatening stab wound following an assault overnight.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., February 8, 2017, Police were called to St. Paul's Hospital where the man was receiving treatment for the injury. He reported that he had been walking in an alley at 22nd Street and Avenue P when he was approached by five men, all dressed in black, who assaulted him with pepper spray and a machete. The suspects then fled the area. The man made his way to hospital.
