Investigation is continuing following the execution of a high-risk search warrant yesterday. Investigators did not located any firearms while searching the home on 33rd Street West, however they did find stolen property.
A 29 year old man is facing preliminary charges of Possession of Stolen Property (X3), Breach of Probation and Breach of Recognizance. He is expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court today.

Traffic restrictions have now been removed in the 1400 block of 33rd St West. Two people have been safely taken into custody and the investigation is continuing. More information will be released as it becomes available. The SPS thanks everyone for their patience during this operation.
Saskatoon Police are currently executing a high-risk search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of 33rd Street West. Traffic restrictions are in place on 33rd Street between the 1400 and 1600 blocks. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
The search warrant is being executed in relation to a firearms investigation.
Police units on scene include the Tactical Support Unit, Canine, Crisis Negotiators, Traffic and Patrol.
