A 35 year old female is facing drug and possession of stolen property charges after an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Break and Enter Unit.
On February 8, 2017 a Patrol Officer was assisting the Saskatoon Sheriff’s Office at a residence doing an eviction of a tenant in the 300 block of Ave U South when the Officer observed drugs and suspected stolen property inside.
A search warrant was executed by the Break and Enter Unit with assistance from investigators assigned to Pawn Detail and the Break and Enter Comprehensive Action Program. This investigation resulted in the seizure of 16 bicycles, a .22 caliber rifle, two sawed off .22 caliber rifles, methamphetamine, methadone, marihuana, credit cards, debit cards and other identity documents.
The female is has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x 3 and Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 x 5.
The investigation is ongoing.
