Two Arrested/Stolen Auto/Weapons/Methamphetamine - Idylwyld Drive And 36th Street

A 27 year old man from Humboldt and a 20 year old Saskatoon woman are facing a total of 22 charges following a traffic stop in Saskatoon yesterday morning.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. February 27, 2017, an officer on patrol spotted a suspicious black Ford Focus in a parking lot at Idylwyld Drive and 36th Street. He located the man and the woman inside the vehicle which had been reported stolen from Prince Albert and was displaying a license plate that had been stolen from another vehicle in Humboldt. Inside the vehicle the officer located a loaded shotgun and a knife and a subsequent search of the man located methamphetamine.

Both were brought into custody without incident. They are facing a number of charges in relation to the firearm, stolen vehicle, stolen license plate, and drugs, and will make an appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on February 28, 2016.
