Members of the Saskatoon Police Service are giving the “gift of life” and taking part in a little friendly competition at the same time today.
Sirens for Life is a campaign bringing together Police, Fire and medical emergency responders in a competition to donate the most units of blood. At the same time they are encouraging family, friends and members of the public to also donate to Canadian Blood Services. Members from the SPS and Saskatoon Fire were at the clinic today to officially launch the campaign by donating.
The campaign is running from January 1 through February 28, 2017. Anyone wishing to donate should visit the Canadian Blood Services Clinic at 1206 Emerson Avenue or book a donation appointment at https://blood.ca/en.
