Three people are facing charges following an investigation into cocaine trafficking in Saskatoon.
The investigation, conducted by members of the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team, resulted in two men being arrested on March 23, 2017. A 29 year old man and a 47 year old man are facing a number of charges including trafficking in cocaine and possession of the proceeds of crime. The 47 year old was found to be in possession of 6.8 grams of cocaine and $560 at the time of his arrest. A 29 year old woman was arrested early on March 24 and is facing similar charges.
Search warrants were executed at three properties on the same day in the 400 block of Kingsmere Blvd., 400 block of Boykowich Street, and the 300 block of Marlatte Street. At the Kingsmere address more than 33 grams of cocaine was seized along with just under $19,000. Drug packaging, scales and cutting agents were located at the Marlatte address.
