The Saskatoon Fire Dept. Hazardous Materials Unit has determined that the substance related to a suspicious package to be non-hazardous. Traffic restrictions have been removed and the area is clear.
The Saskatoon Police Service Targeted Enforcement Unit is now investigating.

The Saskatoon Police Service are responding to a second call today of a suspicious package containing a white powdery substance.
At approximately 4:10 p.m, April 6, 2017, a business in the 400 block of 22nd Street East reported a suspicious package containing a white powder substance.
Saskatoon Fire Dept. Hazardous Materials Unit is on scene to determine if the substance is hazardous.
Traffic restrictions are in place westbound on 22nd Street between 4th and 5th Avenues, as well as on 4th Avenue between 22nd Street and 23rd Street.
