The previous News Release stated "The driver sustained minor injuries during the arrest. The passenger sustained minor injuries consistent with a dog bite".
The injuries are believed to be more serious than previously reported. This incident is being further investigated by Criminal Investigation Services.

On 17-4-15 at approximately 11:30 a.m. a K-9 officer and his partner observed a suspicious vehicle around the 100 block of 109 St. They quickly determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Prince Albert, SK. A tire deflation device was used and was successful in deflating one of the vehicle tires. The vehicle and two suspects continued to evade police until the vehicle was unable to continue.
Both the driver and passenger fled on foot from the vehicle. The K-9 officer apprehended the driver, while his partner apprehended the passenger. The driver sustained minor injuries during the arrest. The passenger sustained minor injuries consistent with a dog bite.
The 36 year old male driver from Prince Albert, SK and a 28 year old male are facing charges of Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Evade Police and Fail to Comply with Court Order.
Both will be seeing a Justice of the Peace.
