Attempted Armed Robbery

A 28 year old woman was arrested by patrol officers shortly after the attempted robbery. The woman was located after the area was searched by police. No firearm was located.

The woman will appear in court tomorrow morning facing charges of Attempt Robbery with a Firearm and Failing to Comply with a Release Document.

The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred at approximately 6:00 p.m. today at a business in the 2400 block of 22 St West.

The lone female suspect entered the business and showed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money.  No money was handed over and the suspect fled the business.

The female suspect is described as Indigenous in appearance, approximately 30 years of age wearing black clothing with white stripes along her pant legs.

There were no injuries.
